Unfortunately polls with responses can’t be made public afterwards.

Probably a good thing in fairness because that anonymous polls thread would be a serious powder keg. Happy to rebuild the polls instead if that works for you?

Yeah, that would be nice of you, please do.

Spoke too soon looks like polls are resistant to editing as well :expressionless:

I mean, y’know, people are entitled to their anonymous polls. Let there be a thousand polls answered anonymously, as far as I’m concerned.

But I ain’t spendin’ any time on it, because in the meantime, every three months, a person is torn to pieces by a crocodile in North Queensland.

That’s an excellent idea.

Southern hemisphere poll. Christmas dinner will be fraught:

  • My extended family will be moaning about the Aussie gay marriage vote
  • We’re basically alright with gay marriage after all we live in Wadestown, Parnell or whatever the similar Sydney and Melbourne suburbs are
  • My extended family already are gay married m9
  • Jesus Christ won’t someone think of the crocodile attacks?

Not even the 28th for me. Back to work at 5am on the 27th, and there will be guys working boxing day for sales or working until 11pm Xmas Eve prepping the sales.

I’m off from the 15th until the 3rd

Lucky you

hope you’re all jazzed for krampusnacht tomorrow, folks. we put up our little krampus statue then and the tree next week.

Sparkling squirrel. Actually a little heavy for the top, so he’s perched a branch down.

Merry Irked-mas

@moderators I can’t like any of these fine posts, and apparently I have to wait 418,552 hours before I can?? :open_mouth:

was wondering why i wasn’t getting my usual 300+ likes today from fans and fam alike

Girlfriend put the tree up at the weekend. I think this is way too early, has there already been a poll for this?
She also went for the classy tree and won’t let me put flashing coloured lights on it.

Christmas buffet is the highlight of Christmas, I mostly eat buffet throughout the final two weeks of December. My mum’s version is just stuff from the asda party section, nothing homemade.

It does seem to be a thing to put it up at the start of December now. Pretty sure it was more the middle of the month when I was a kid.

  • Having your Christmas tree up now is too early
  • Give it a few more days
  • Not until the 15th at the earliest
  • Getting a real tree so later the better
  • Christmas Eve

We always had a tradition of putting it up on my mum’s birthday, the 15th, and that’s now firmly etched in my brain.
