This is indisputably true.

I wish I was from Caerphilly. I’m from even more of a shithole just up the road from there. Moved away a long time ago now though.

I’m gonna take a wild guess. Blackwood ?

Beddau…

Welsh for graves!

One of my old work colleagues was from there.

Please accept my deepest condolences

Used to hang people at the village square apparently.

Graveyard of the soul as a teenager I can tell you that much.

23rd or 24th train from Manchester to Hebden Bridge (probably 24th)

26th or 27th train from Hebden Bridge to Manchester (probably 27th)

I live in Pentrych. Know it ? pretty quiet. But nice for bringing up kids. I imagine they will also become pissed off as teenagers though.

Just noticed the edit on the Wiki entry :D:

Too much travelling, only two days in that period when we’re not going anywhere due to mine and my partner’s families being scattered around all over.

Fri 22nd - Last Train from London - Berkshire - Fucking dreadful, will be rammed
Sat 23rd - Driving Berkshire to Bristol - Not too bad hopefully
Sun 24th - Driving Bristol to Berkshire - As above, setting off early morning
Tues 26th - Driving Berkshire to York - Hopefully OK, setting off mega early too
Thurs 28th - Train York to Durham and back - Fine
Fri 29th - Driving York to Wakefield and back - Fine
Sat 30th - Driving York to Berkshire, then train back to London - uuuuurgh

Not particularly well to be honest! My ‘posh’ cousins from Creigiau used to play football for Pentyrch when we were kids though.

haha. Yeah it’s a bit like that in places. Horses. We have a saddlery as well ffs.

This is probably the biggest thing to have happened in Beddau:

It’s a really weird story.

Also, when I was a kid that block of flats was being built and I got to have a go in a JCB there.

22nd - Santiago to London flying (2 hr)
31st - Haslemere to Shaftesbury (2hr)
1st - Shaftesbury to Haslemere (2 hr)
2nd - London to a coruna (1.75 hr)

Could be worse

What’s taking you to A Coruna? a colleague is from there and I was there for their wedding earlier this year - really lovely (although not sure what it’s like in winter!)

There are two airports near to where I live here in Spain and a coruna is one of them. Yeah, I absolutely love it there. Food is incredible, weather is fantastic in summer and there’s tonnes to do.
