• Yep - went up on the 3rd
  • Artificial
  • N/A
  • 7ft (including star on top)
  • Same set of deccorations each year.

Just got it today
It’s real
Fuck knows, only £20 so nowt fancy
It’s small
Fixed set of decorations will be going on on Wednesday, after the branches have settled down a bit (at footy tomorrow)

Not having one this year as we’re moving house and I’m working away for a month over Christmas :frowning:
Normally get a real one from Leeds Market, about 4/5 feet.
Got a box of about 12 baubles that cost a quid at Wilkos a couple of years ago. Never got round to buying a topper so a little felt robin sits on the highest branch.

I would have asked you to buy like 50 and we could have had 25 each

Normally do it on the 6th but will be out tomorrow, so I’ll be putting it up tonight.

We put it up yesterday
Real
6 feet tall
Nordmann or Nordic, can’t remember
We have red and gold baubles, but my TV and I exchange a tree ornament each year as a Christmas gift, as we thought it would be cute when we’re old.

Can I ask what every one is spending on their tree?

Not yet, probably buy Saturday, put up Sunday.
Real, probably five footer, hopefully not with just one straight up stalk for the last foot.
Old decos, but since I have zero artistic flair my duties will consist of buying it (probs about £40), carrying it home, sawing its base off and plonking it in the stand. Mrs F will do the prettifying.

Was £30 for a decent four-foot Nordmann, guess I’m paying a London premium, but such is life.

  • Not up, aiming for this weekend
  • Real, anyone with a fake one is ruining christmas
  • Whatever the local greengrocers are selling outside their shop
  • 7ft anyone with a smaller one is ruining christmas
  • My missus likes to do the decoration so i don’t know

Erected 3rd December
It’s a real concolor fir
Same decs as last year
It’s over 6ft

I always think it is a bit of a shame to get nice lovely pine tree and then slowly watch it die in your living room. Don’t get me wrong its nice at first with the fresh pine smell but by the time you get to January the tree reflects the month, a bit gloomy and grey

Christmas is dead then anyway so it reflects well.

Up December 2nd. About 6 foot.

It’s fake though. We were thinking about getting a real one but worried our cat will eat all the pine needles and die.

Not up yet
Will be real
Not sure how tall, depends if we go for little one in a table or big one that’ll block one if the doors in the front room.

Might whack up my FILs fake one in the dining room as well for extra Christmass cheer

In the past we have spent around 70 on a tree :open_mouth::open_mouth:

  • Tree is fully erected
  • Real
  • Nordmann
  • 7 feet
  • Fixed but ever-growing collection of decorations

I did not know, but love, the fact that Nordmann is a type of tree. It’s literallt the Norwegian word for a Norwegian person.
