This record got rapturous reviews last year but I could never work out how to actually listen to it - it’s not any of the normal streaming services and you couldn’t buy it on any physical media. I’m sure there ways that cooler people knew, but they never told me.
Anyway, it’s now out on vinyl (I think the CD is coming soon) and it’s absolutely incredible. It’s not quite what I expected (I thought it would be more ‘in-your-face’ for some reason) but it’s basically a big sprawling anthology of the history of alternative guitar music. Just packed with great melodies and quirky little touches and experiments throughout.
Anyone else enjoying it (including those cool enough to have been listening to it for ages)?
