Defo. Think there’s a clear trend for English players improving and getting more minutes at the top clubs. Walker, Stones, Delph, Sterling have all improved hugely. Jones, Young, Lingard are noticably better. Maybe in a year’s time Drinkwater, Barkley, etc will show similar forward steps. Rose, Dier, Dele, Kane had already been turned into top players, Trippier’s solid, Winks has obvious quality. Pickford, Gomez, Maguire are playing regularly at a good level.

Rhetorical question or not, honestly think there are reasons for England fans to be cautiously optimistic. Sadly Rashford’s not on that list of players to progress.
