My two closest shops are both Co-ops, it is pricy if you don’t aim for the deals, but generally no more expensive than Sainsbury’s Local or Tesco Express. The perils of not living by a proper big supermarket.

it was reeeeal bad for about 6 months. Don’t know what changed

A member of staff probably moved jobs

Same here (in fact, the two co-ops are a literal stone’s throw from each other, which is stupid) and it can be pricey, but also the reduced section is absolutely unparalleled.

reckon it was the nero machine actually

Waitrose
Tesco, but it’s a half hour shlep

This is much better than the Bud deal but maybe not as good as the Ben & Jerry’s deal.

co-op, tesco, sainsburies, ASDA, Lidl

  1. Co-op but it’s a convenience store size attached to the petrol station.

What we calling walking distance?

Have an Aldi and Waitrose about half a mile away. There’s a Spar round the corner (used to be a co-op, but not been in since the change). And there’s a Tesco express half a mile in another direction. They’re walking distance.

Got a sainos and a spennos plus a Tesco express, Iceland and a co-op around a mile and a half to two miles away.

Big tezzas and sainos are 3 miles away in different directions

I can genuinely walk to about six different Tescos, four Co-Ops, a Lidl, an Aldi, an Iceland, two M&S’s, a Booths, and a Morrisons.

It’s oversaturated to fuck.

Sending Her Indoors out for a bit of this tomorrow on her 20% staff discount. The value will be phenomenal.

Two Co-Ops really close to us, a bigger Co-Op on the main street, a Tesco Metro, a smaller Tesco further away, a Tesco Extra within 15 mins (through the park, which is nice), an Iceland (YES I bloody love their frozen root veg and so on)

Suppose if I’m counting the Tesco Extra I should also count the Aldi which is right by it too actually

Iceland’s frozen pizza and ready meal ranges are excellent value, especially for anyone on a tight budget.

Shite for everything else.
