Not too sure what most of them like, but what I have found out:

Colleague is well into his electro-swing. He invited me along to a night (I politely declined)

One older chap has All along the Watchtower as his ringtone (Hendrix version).

A girl went to see Mr B the gentleman rhymer.

electro-swing is fucking dogshit. landlord at pub i used to work in once had his electro swing playlist on instead of christmas music all december - got complaints.

I used to work with a guy who liked rock – like Deftones, Black Spiders, Samsara Blues Experiment, Pantera, etc. But then it became clear he was a Trump-supporting Brexit Tory wanker so we no longer talk.

This thread has spookily come to life. In the tea/coffee area just now, I just ended up chatting with a guy from another department who was wearing a Slint t-shirt. And it turns out that we have a non-work friend in common. The Slint guy is originally from Portugal so I asked him about some Portuguese bands, one of whom are friends of mine and also, it turns out, friends of his.

guy sat opposite me is really into music and is clearly desperate to chat about it with somebody, anybody. whenever he tries with me I immediately shut that shit down because I’m a terrible person and find it funny, even though it would probs be quite an enjoyable chat
