That’s better. Go get me a beer out of the fridge.

Never found him particularly funny and thought he was maybe just a bit likeable but then saw all this and

Shite and I hate her having heard a horrible fatphobic anecdote from her

Oh that’s surprising, thought she seemed like a good sort

oh no I am sorry to hear this

she was my favourite up until this point

I want to like her but just kind of, no. Maybe it’s the shiny panel shows that’re wrong.

Best live comedy show I’ve seen.

Saw him in Edinburgh in 2010 I think it was. Just consistently funny through the whole thing. This always makes me laugh too

He’s great, good Twitter as well

I’m only voting on comedians I’ve seen live rather than panel shows - am I doing this wrong?

think the thread contains lots of funny people but they’ve decided to become bad stand ups or write rubbish sitcoms instead of just be funny around their friends and family

I reckon that over the course of any given month, I spend at least 20 times as many minutes laughing at stuff on DiS as I do anything else

  • DiS is actually very funny and full of comedians
  • it’s cos you spend more time here than anywhere else in the world

What about all the things you see on social media?

It’s really weird seeing him getting successful now, cause I remember really liking his weird old YouTube series “Doug Sklenki” well over 10 years ago.

(I still occasionally have the “Fighters” theme tune running through my head, which was basically https://voca.ro/17ZAkNJrGMei)

Yeah, that’s a great show. I’d say he’s actually as good now as when he first started. He went off a bit in the late 80s / early 90s.
