I still think about Ghostpony’s Foals story every time I think about Foals the band, foals the animal, festivals, ghosts, ponies or sex.
“Yeah, fuck ‘em, they’re only bees”
St. Cronin’s massive post about menstrual blood will always stick with me. Long since been deleted I’m sure. Wonder if dude is still alive tbf.
“I, boring?”
Dont remember who it was but in like 2008 called me on some mildly sexist/ignorant post that i hadnt even considered to be sexist and it changed how i thought about a lot of things.
Deep-blue that was
i boring is classic stuff. deep blue was fun in his own way
he’s still droning on about Garbage on the music forum
Every poster I see for I, Tonya makes me think of this
noticed that but it’s not the same anymore. he’s clearly lost his edge.
Oh nice to hear! when he went down the road with his fixation on Lana Del Ray was when he kinda started to lose me (nothing to do w her or her music mind).
The phrase ‘De-wigged in the foamatorium’ pops into my head for no reason every now and then, so thanks I guess.
He was either banned for getting very weird (which happened a few times) or else he left. He was ‘rue_the_day’ too on the old site (or something like that).
I honestly couldn’t say regarding what it was. A lot of the content is deleted now thanks to how the forums ran. But I don’t recall anyone getting banned for purely being weird.
if i recall he got mad about something and asked that his st cronin posts be removed. i think it was the menstrual blood thread tbf. came back as rue the day then got mad and maybe got temp banned and decided to bounce for good. something like that.
I still think about this comment and laugh sometimes.
*PAT
lmao dying at this
The guy said that black women scared him because of their mystical powers.
Interestingly, he didn’t get banned for this & a loads of people got annoyed at the criticism he received.
oh yeah! i think i had stopped paying attention to him by that point. horrible post/thought on his part.
That post about how somebody didn’t like how the Christopher Nolan Batman had real-life locations in them as it made them imagine their Dad watching it all on the news.
Also the post about the guy on the plane who kept excitedly saying ‘here we go’ during a conversation
