iirc, that game was in possibly the only Humble Bundle that Nintendo participated in - I remember paying £1 for it, or maybe $1

Nice game for a quid, but £90 is insane, especially without original packaging and because :pirate_flag:

I would also like to share, uh, my appreciation for that particular game.

It’s been re-released for £15 on Switch, ffs

Hardly any copies produced apparently and then everyone and his dog decided they wanted a complete Shante collection.

Anyone installed bazzite? I’ve got an aya neo air from a few years ago which doesn’t get much use on account of the cumbersome windows os.

My most powerful handheld going to waste, can probably emulate later systems

Think bazzite is similar to steam os

Exciting potential to get more non gaming stuff working with these things

had a look to see which devices it is available for Releases · christianhaitian/dArkOS · GitHub hadnt heard of some of them so googled

i’d seen this one before but forgotten about it, the ‘a10’ seems almost identical to an of Miyoo Mini but more powerful so can play portmaster and have shaders and stuff

weird how much worse it looks by making both corners rounded though

Mentioned in the media server thread there is this thing called fieldstation 42 that lets you simulate live broadcast tv and radio with your own files

Tried installing it on this new dArkOs (as based on Debian like raspberry pis)

Worked! You just have to exit emulation station first otherwise you get video and game at the same time, which I quite like

Finally bothered to get HD texture packs for Fire Emblem Awakening and Bravely Default sorted. Running at 4x resolution on the Ayn Thor, they look better than a lot of Switch games tbh.

God I love this thing. Might even play some games on it at some point.

takes every ounce of will power I have to not buy one of these things, playing games on one screen and watching youtube on the other would be optimal cosy, thing that has held me back is I cba learning how to configure android emulators. my resolve is being tested as I keep seeing videos about using gamehub/gamenative to run steam stuff

Retroarch is the only fiddly one, really, and at least that covers a big chunk of platforms. There’s some really great setup guides out there now, e.g.

But even these overcomplicate things, imo. It’s not quite as straightforward as having a Linux system with a preconfigured CFW, but it’s not that bad.
