Cooking with dishwashers

Has anybody ever tried this? I’ve heard of people cooking salmon in a dishwasher but apparently you can cook lasagna as well!?

Not entirely sure why you would do this if you have an oven though.

Absolutely not

It’s this sort of attitude that blocks any form of progress for our species.

“Why” bother making the wheel?
“Why” bother seeing if you can make those little rubber suction cup things to stick things to windows?
“Why” do a dark chocolate version of a Bounty?

Very frustrating

“Around 15 years ago, I saw a documentary on British television about a guy who had wrapped some sausages in foil, placed them on a strategic part of his engine, and then took a 40 minute drive to his friend’s house. When he got there, the sausages were perfectly cooked and a great end to a small journey.”

Exactly! Dishwashers might eventually replace ovens. A new thing might then come along to wash dishes.

I think I’ve posted about this before but it’s as good a place as any to mention my dear, beloved friend who once cooked pasta in the kettle, fish fingers in the toaster and ironed bread to make toast.
