I’d like to report a crime I saw this morning.

I’m in the Co-op buying a pot of edamame beans for breakfast, queuing up at the old self-services, seen a woman on the last selfy of the row pick up her shopping and storm out. I thought she’d walked out more angrily than how your average punter exits the shops, but I thought nothing of it and approached the the till to scan my beans and get on with my day. Upon arriving at the till I was shocked and appalled to see that she’d evidently scanned about £20 worth of stuff through, got something which required a staff member to verify it, so just thought “fuck this” and walked out with the lot.

As far as I know she’s still at large.

Generally fairly law abiding as I really hate being in trouble. Once got acused of stealing a CD that I’d bought from another shop when I was 12, the guy in the shop proper shouted at me. Just thinking about it makes me feel guilty even though I didn’t do anything wrong.
