it doesn’t matter. it’ll be buried under a load of links to expensive gear or strava or whatever.

did you read the bit where chris hoy called everyone fat?

And abuse.

A cyclist reaches out and you scold him because he’s not wearing the right gear.

This is sad.

Reckon it’s worth the extra £60 to upgrade to the elemnt bolt bundle?

HR monitor is great, speed and cadence sensors are only really useful if you’re either doing indoor training or a specific training plan which requires you to spin at a certain RPM. I could bin them off tbh.

What is HR monitor?

you put this thing on yr bike and it tells you how hellish the ride is

I use the cadence for climbing because I don’t have a power meter at the moment

I’m also going to start using both the cadence and heart rate monitor to do some interval training over the winter.

That stretch to Tweedsmuir is on the RttS route. It’s meant to be stunning but idk because it was pitch black and I was squinting to stop the midges going in my eyes.Nice road surfaces though.

Any of you awful awful people recommend any decent inexpensive over-trousers for winter commuting?

Thought not.

You’re the worst.

Don’t bother with them mate. Just wear long bibs and get a bit wet.
