Ask him to become a member of the club. If he breaks your club rules, kick him out. Alternatively, tell him he can’t with you until he’s a member due to public liability or some bollocks

#3770

If you’re not riding.

#3771

anyone ever used one of those companies who pick your bike up and ship it overseas?

#3772

Tried putting my new seat on. My bike now has no seat.

#3773

???

pcbe

#3774

some of them are a bit fiddly tbf

#3775

Basically I am not good at doing bike things.

I might have figured it out though and just need an extra pair of hands.

#3776

I only found out on my trip away that switching a saddle (weird that we call seats saddles and seatposts seatposts) doesn’t require the whole removal of the top clamp and both bolts, and you can just loosen them and slide the saddle rails out to the side to switch the new saddle in.

#3777

I will keep this in mind for the future, thanks :+1:

#3778

On second thought this might depend on what type of seatpost you have. Most of mine have two bolts, one at the front and one at the rear.

#3779

Mine just has the one, but I think it might work. Even though it is all currently in pieces you gave me the idea that I might be able to part assemble it away from the post so I can actually do it without it falling apart, which it was doing the stupid way I wad trying.
