• slacken off spokes
  • one by one swap each spoke end and nipple across to the new rim
  • tension the wheel as you would for a from scratch wheel build

It’s much easier as you don’t need to think about how the spokes are laced.

don’t do the classic Turner’s Hill bullshit, the roads are busy and shit. I’ve done loads of routes to Brighton, this is the best imho

Thank you as always

@plastikniki what’s that site you can use to find shops and cafes along your route?

@anyoneelse I’m sure you might know too but going direct to source just feels easier sorry

I’m assuming that it’s one of these

http://www.cafenetwork.info/

http://halfwaycoffee.com/

The 2nd one looks good but wrong country!

There’s another one that lets you upload a route file and it gives shops and cafes/petrol stations along the planned route

fuck me, that’s an ugly website

Audaxers don’t care for aesthetics

I can’t remember who he is sadly

Rim swap-over complete. Now comes the hard part where I try to make something that isn’t an egg shaped Pringle

I really want to have a go at this.

I really don’t want to have a go at this

Have fun though!

Question Time over-confident polo-necked bellend who had the great idea of ireland just y’know getting it’s act together and uniting.

edit whenever I see any kind of map showing ireland as a single entity for whatever reason, I think of him and assume people know what I’m talking about
