Also, any character with a moustache - imagine it’s their eyes.

hahah. Kids are you sure you don’t want to watch re-runs of Minibeast adventures ?

Mainly watch Netflix, so Paw Patrol, Blaze, Dinosaur Train, Storybots

When Challenge was repeating Knightmare we rinsed the hell out of that. Then they pulled it mid-series, much to their (my) irritation.

They also love a bit of 90s action gameshow, Gladiators and the Crystal Maze and whatnot.

Yeah the theme is ok, but the song they recycle within the show is unbearable. Run rabbit run…

Happily my kids have mainly moved on to computer games for now. They play a lot of Minecraft, mariokart etc. And they also absolutely love watching me play Final Fantasy 12 on the old PS2 for some reason, they demand it every day. My wife is not on board with this, but that’s tough luck.

Best theme tune?

Jess is a bit like an approachable version of Angela Jolie’s Lara Croft.

I noticed from an episode the other week that at least some of it is filmed near me (Stave Hill Ecological Park) :+1:

Go Jetters, easily.

My lad doesn’t watch a great deal of children’s TV - has gone straight to films. Notably, Finding Dory and Cars. I’ve seen Cars SO MANY TIMES. It isn’t even good.

Nice photo shoot though…

Yeah, we got DVDs of the Flumps and Camberwick Green which have both gone down really well although the fact that some of our daughters friends parents haven’t heard of such programmes made me feel like a really old dad.

Love Horrible Histories. Charles Dickens in the style of the Smiths is great

Almost posted that very song. Instead, I’ll add Boudicca:

Colchester, London, St Albarns, everybody talk about DEAD ROMANS…

As well as all the usual kids stuff we have been watching some You’ve Been Framed. Problem is it elicits even more questions that anything else as it is so fast paced.

Exercising montage:
-what’s that?
-it’s a rowing machine
-what does it do?

  • well you use it t…
    -what’s that?
-sort of vibration pads that people put on their stomachs to tone…
    -what’s that?
    -it’s a running machine
    -why do people use them?
    -beacuse…
-hahahaha his trousers have fallen off!

Son goes into a weird trance and starts gyrating when we put this on

Also I like Horrible Histories and the books are good but I find nearly every single actor in it annoying.

I like Peppa Pig, I have no idea what my son sees in it but it’s surely the actual funniest kids’ TV show for adults. Some of it is proper gold, like the whistling episode

Why is her mum making cookies in a muffin tin?

Just as there are new Peppa Pig episodes, she stops watching it ffs. I am tempted to watch them on my own. Same with Ben & Holly, genuinely funny that. It is a mix of different channels and Cbeebies is long gone. Main programmes are Paw Patrol, My Little Pony, Dora & Friends, Go Diego Go and Shimmer & Shine (crap).

The big one recently though is Pokemon of all things. Purely by browsing Netflix and clicking what she fancies. There is some absolute shite on there (Do NOT watch Bo on the Go unless you want to do jumping exercises at 6am) but I was pleasantly surprised with this choice for a 5 year old lady. She is obsessed, has a load of figures, we do pretend battles with teddies etc. She has had a full on Pokemon conversations with adults about who mega evolves into who.
