He’s dead, that worked!!

The regular enemies can be beaten by dodging or running away from, you’ve never been forced to use deflection. Yes it’s needed for that miniboss but he takes so much posture damage he’s pretty trivial so you probably haven’t practiced with him either.

When I played NG+ I had him down at the first attempt is under 3 minutes. It’s a good fight, but just feels it’s a bit hard that early. Could have skipped the middle phase and I don’t think it would have harmed it.

Tower Knight is down. YESSS!!!

Despite him being dead the door is still fogged out.

Well done with the Red Eye Knight.
You can’t access 1-3 until you beat a whole other set of levels. Stupid mechanic, but it kind of makes 1-3 and 1-4 end game. Most people go with all of Stonefang and dip in and out of the other 3 levels

I haven’t worded this very well sorry

I understand. Stanfang was becoming a real dead end but I have real progress there now.

I’m at the fog door and this will definitely be a Boss. I have a shit load of Souls on me and am in a rare state of Humanity.

Should I be equipping the new ring?

Ummm Sif just never spawned for me in Darkroot Garden. What do I do?

Which one? Don’t forget to read item descriptions, it may help with things like this

Also did you find the Blacksmith? He’s a dick but very helpful

Examine the gravestone?

I am I’ve got the hornet ring but there’s just no big dog!

I almost beat that Boss but died losing a lot of Souls and Human form. Now I’m farming as I need green stuff. The ring is a poison resistance one but ideally I need one the protects against fire.

I didn’t see any Blacksmith.

Did you pick up the dog food in undead burg?

You should have unlocked shortcuts to make the run to the boss easier and also unlock the blacksmith

maybe explore more

Not sure what boss you’re at but there is one in 2 that is extremely challenging and I usually come back to later on - much later. It seems logical to do the archstones in the order going up the stairway in the nexus, and that’s not entirely wrong, but you don’t have to complete one before moving on to the next (and in fact can’t as @Daggers has pointed out).

If you are struggling on one, you may find you can make good progress in other levels instead and you may find better weapons / loot in them too. .
