I still don’t believe this picture is real.

If it is real then is he heading for a divorce or something? Smoking, drinking, putting his arm around some random woman young enough to be his daughter and looking like he’s loving it? Incredible.

Yeah because up until then he’d been a total dreamboat of a man his whole life. Barely fucked a pig or a country at all.

So nothing like Glastonbury then? Gotchya.

I assumed the pig stuff had already been accepted by his family long before as ‘youthful hi-jinks’. I mean didn’t he make some pretty grim remarks about Mandela or something back in the 80s?

As for the country being forked over, I assume no Tories really give a shit about that.

If you look at the other picture, he was there with his wife and kids

Ah okay.

I’m obviously fully for Cameron being made a bloody fool of I just don’t like subsequently having my joy ripped from my hands.

this has made Cameron seem even more human compared to May

although he’s still got no chance of ever being as awesome as Ed Miliband has been since having the pressure of leadership taken away

Someone i know met Brown, Cameron and Clegg in the lead-up to the 2010 General Election, properly like, not just a quick handshake and that, and said he was actually quite nice (along with Clegg, with Brown being a bit of a cunner). True story. Really down to earth, they said. Make of that what you will.

This is a tight decision for me. I kind of want to stick up for wor Tez because Cameron is such a quintessential public school boy with his oily ease in one-on-one situations, the relaxed, eloquent and friendly attitude that can only come from a life of zero obstacles and a thousand rich mates. Meanwhile there’s something almost endearing about May’s total inability to get on with other human beings, Mark off Peep Show-esque. Thought the same thing about Brown. And Cameron has done more damage, if only because he had more time to do it in.

On the other hand, that year or so where May was fully in control of this country gave me the horror far more than at any time during Nice Dave’s reign. She is such a hideous, unempathetic shell of a politician, a weathervane stuck to the top of Paul Dacre’s mansion. I think Cameron sort of kind of believed in a couple of socially progressive things.

His missus is a proper magazine hoarder. It’s like a plot for Fargo

I’ve met Clegg and he’s a really nice guy.

getting gay marriage legalised was not an easy thing to do for a tory pm but fair play to him for getting it done

doesn’t forgive him for all the terrible thing he did but still, shows why he’s a far far better than May

more tory MPs voted against it than for it actually

Ditched ID cards too. Would’ve been a piece of cake to steamroll that through regardless.

You see, this is absolutely believable. Can’t remember exactly what I said on election night, but it was something on the lines of him being a decent man, who made some very stupid decisions for entirely the right reasons (and I don’t put going into coalition with the Tories in the first place as one of them). He deserved to lose his seat (in 2015) for those choices, but I never thought he was anything but a decent person, even when I was at my most angry with him and his party
