I’m not reading it, but I already know I hate that person. We take great pains to check with our neighbours if we’re being annoying, but also there’s not a bunch you can do if your kid is, well, being a kid! Now she’s six things are actually quieter but we’re very aware of noise.
That’s very good of you to check with your neighbours! But you shouldn’t have to.
We had someone who lived above us once who was doing something that sounded like he was dragging furniture around. All. Day. Whatever he was doing this dickhead was way worse than the couple with kids.
It’s only because we’re mates with one side and it would feel really shitty not to - otherwise I’m not sure we’d give as much of a damn. What we’ve noticed in lockdown is how noisy our childless neighbours are, up all night washing up with the volume of a small construction site. Everyone’s loud.
Pigeons were my fave bird as a kid and I still think they’re rad. Wood pigeons remind me of my grandma, she and my grandad shared their garden with a nesting pair.
R came into us at about 3…despite being almost 13 this lockdown is causing night anxiety and waking so I just went into his room…realised he is still sleeping on the mattress (and bed) that was my sister’s so about 30 years old or more, should probably sort that out…
No plans today beyond a bit of work and a walk and making a roasted cauliflower based dinner
Housemates birthday today so we’re having breakfast burritos. Going to go for a run and do day 2 of the 100 push-up challenge and then continue with my (sad) little Illustrator course.
