I am now on day 12 of this horrible illness which I think started out as a nasty winter flu and has now progressed to a sinus infection & chest infection

I still have a fever (38.5) after 12 fucking days

I have an appointment at my local health centre in 45 minutes. My local health centre is a 6/7min walk away but I live on a hill so it’s 200 concrete steps down to get there & 200 concrete steps back up to get home.

I have not left the house (other than to pick up my white label test pressing 90seconds walk away) in 12 days. I’ve hardly left my bed in that time. I barely have the energy to go from my room to the bathroom & back. How am I going to walk up 200 steps?

Also, it’s -9°C outside

Not sure why they’re called Balham FC… they play somewhere out Kingston way, I think.

Back in work today after a very nice day off post-festival yesterday. Met my old lecturer and arranged to go to gigs with him, met a friend to see how she’s getting on and priced a new bass which I’ll be putting a deposit down for today. Saw my friends’ band support British Sea Power too!

I expect work will be quite boring and my voice is absolutely shot so phone calls are going to be excuciating but I’m not doing overtime and I’m HYYYYPED about buying the bass so that’s good.
