Tried to wash my car but I couldn’t be arsed changing the water so I’ve literally just moved the dirt around. The lesson I have learned is: never try.

On the plus side my gf has stopped asking me to do her car after seeing the state I’ve left mine in.

You kids! I genuinely can’t imagine leaving the house to go out any later than about 7.

Too everything, imo. I’ve been outside for a couple of hours and hated every second, I won’t be making that mistake again.

Recovering from Fatboy Slim last night - impressive show in an acid-fried shock and awe sort of way. Feel lucky to have escaped with only mild hangover.

Now… gardening.

There is a new place in the shopping centre that does burrito/rice bowls but with Indian food, I’ve often thought this would be a good idea but when confronted with the reality of curry, lettuce and cheese I realise I was mistaken

Heading to Lidl to pick up some football snacks. Fellow snackheads - anything worth investigating other than the obvious (looking at you chocolate lebkuchen).

Wish they still did festive pizza :slightly_frowning_face:

Begging to think i should have made cuocakes ratger than a cake. The batter was very wet and i’ve already doubled the bake time and its still a long way off being ready and I have time sensitive activities that i need to complete involving leaving the house for 50 odd minutes. What I’m saying is, can someone come and check on my cake while I crack on with shopping?

It pretty much ruined Christmas that I never found festive pizza in my lidl :frowning:

Snackwise, they do some decent tortilla chips which I think are fairly new sort-of rip-offs of the manomasa ones, I’d get some of those if I were going there. Also recently got little Coconut Collaborative chocolate desert pots from lidl which are very delicious, but not sure if they were part of the range permanently or not.

I nearly acquired something from your garage junk the other day (assume its yours)…the Simpsons poster

I’ve just got back :expressionless: those coconut choc pots sound deeeeece though mate, will keep my eyes peeled next time I go on a snack run.

I’m sorry you didn’t manage to get hold of one of those :christmas_tree::pizza: - they were as elusive as the Glasgow Vegan Sausage Roll for a spell.

Went for a long run so I can definitely justify spending the rest of the day in a dark pub drinking Guinness and watching sport. New gig pal might join me

When you order a latte in a cafe and it comes in one of those tall glasses

  • Oh how delightfully authentic
  • FO, M, just give me a cup

Walking home fantasising about Eddie Vedder (#thursday).

Going to have some strawberries with coconut milk and crushed up oat cakes (so good) in the garden as soon as i get home.

Fully expecting the prof to vote positively in this poll :es:

Debating which categories to waste money on with some Oscar bets, then off to see my friend’s new place and have a (presumably) slap-up dinner. Also making lots of plans for next week which is nice but Jesus I want a night in doing fuck all please

Same for anything which comes in a fancy glass/ cup to be honest - I’d rather just have the normal, non-attention-seeking one.

Just got back from Tesco where my flatmate was serving so I got 10% off my groceries. Feeling like I shoulda brought more food now to get full value of the moment.

How’s your snack game chief?

Wish I was outside (looks lovely and warm out there today), rather than stuck in a shop serving ratty customers :frowning:
