That’s an impenetrable word salad sorry, haven’t had my cup of tea yet!

My mum was telling me that Oxford initially got into the football league from an Accrington result…have I got this right? So it’s all very circular.

Going to be keeping an eye whilst doing some more work. Might drag kids out for some fresh air given that it is only overcast all day and not actually rain

Yes - Oxford joined the league in 1962 when Accy went bankrupt. Can’t remember if they were Oxford or whether they were still Headington United at that point

Got an empty slate today. Hoping to get some housework done and I’ll need go and try to tire out bairn 1 somehow, at some point.

Morning

Gonna do some gardening this morning.

Maybe a bike ride this afternoon if it stays dry that long, bit windy though.

Morning!

The other half decided we were having pancakes for breakfast, but then we realised we had no eggs, so I’ve already been out to the co op. We’ve got a supermarket delivery this morning and might go to the park later to get some fresh air. I feel I could / should be doing more exciting things, but a year of not having the opportunities has meant I’m a bit lacking in inspiration

I feel this very much, it’s like once you’re out of practice at doing fun it takes a while to get going again. To be fair I don’t know what I’d feel if I was actually presented with some fun options, I literally teared up in the street and had to go and sit in the car for a bit when I found out the library was open the other day, so maybe I’m not the 2021 events guide you need

Ah, we did the library yesterday and rinsed the kids section for dinosaur books and graphic novels that look like kids books

Good morning

Can any of the musicy people help me please? So, the harpsichord mix of illusions by cypress hill sounds like it has exactly the same bass as Scooby snacks by fun lovin’ criminals… am I right? I’d look it up myself but I can’t read tabs.

Yes those are the sort of songs I listen to as I prep veg on a Sunday morning

Anyway I hope you all have wonderful days <3

The death of the snow day, actually devastating

Hey everyone

Slow start here - bit hungover despite only drinking 3 small cans last night. Ate a double portion of Indian though so also kind of bloated

Should get out for a bike to blow off the cobwebs but I have achey legs

Want to do something this afternoon really but lack of options is kind of a problem - I feel like anyone I might ask is going to be fed up of sitting in cold pub gardens/ parks/ beaches. And all the pubs are booked up anyway. In regular times I guess I’d be looking what’s on at the cinema. I’m quite bored of watching films at home sadly

It’s not exactly the same but it’s near enough

Morning all

It’s supposed to be 20C and sunny today but it’s blowing a near gale and spitting with rain. Feels like we can’t even do ‘nice weather’ right at the moment.

Not much planned for the day. Gonna make meatballs for lunch and then maybe go for a walk after. I’m itching to start redecorating but we can’t yet.

Basically, I just need to go “right!” and then have a proper plan for the day.

Proper football chat too, none of this Premier League nonsense.

My kids hate it when I go ‘right!’ as it means they are going to have to do something…

Had a dream about someone I really fancied but who I haven’t seen in four years. Don’t do this to me, silly mind.
