Usually when I have avocados for breakfast it’s with eggs.
Sometimes some black beans too.
Just skip ahead one meal to lunch.
Or my current favourite breakfast:
1x strong black coffee
1x packet of Prawn Cocktail crisps
1x slice of bread
Butter to taste
Directions -
butter the bread
Open the packet of crisps
Smoosh them up a bit in your angry fist
Pour in to the slice of bread
Fold in half sort of like a taco
Eat
Drink the coffee afterwards to get the taste of shame out of your mouth
thank you for the thought
No farmshops within a reasonable* distance

Granola, fancy yogurt, fancy fruit.
Sour dough cheese on toast. With marmite.
Boat load of hot sauce also obviously
Cheesy leeks on toast.
Fry leeks in a lot of butter
Toast bread
Put leeks on toast
Put grated cheese on leeks
Grill
Vegetable soup
this is like every breakfast/brunch for me don’t eat egg
Oh my! This sounds really delicious!
For some reason @avery is always a bit hesitant when I suggest leeky things because he forgets he does really like them but I am going to try to convince him to let me make him this for breakfast next time he makes a sourdough…
thanks!
Overnight oats can get pretty decadent if you add syrup and chocolate and all the good stuff. Like a brunch dessert.
For me, the whole point of porridge is a healthy, filling, low sugar breakfast. It’s a weekday staple, plain with almond milk or sometimes raisins as a treat.
I used to have it with golden syrup when I was little, that was yummy
Sorry, lost track of my point.
If I’m going to be inviting chocolate and syrup to the party, I’m having pancakes or waffles, not wasting my time on porridge! (might sneak some oats into my batter though )
@avery lad come on. Cheesy leeks on toast are incredible and I think you will enjoy them and hope that you (both) do. Good luck.
Commiserations, my friend x
Make meringue!
Pavlova or Eton mess or a soft meringue for a cake or pie topping! You can also use egg whites in some baking recipes.
There aren’t any sorry
spliff, wank, lager
I like to have just a massive bowl of noodles with light soy sauce, sesame oil and korean chilli flakes on them. you could add fried chunks of cucumber or broccoli or fried tofu balls (these ones) or something if you like because I have a poached egg with mine
