Saint Frances way too low

Yeah same here. I have 806 films in my Letterboxd Watchlist…

(Starting a specific project in the new year to watch 1 a week for the next decade+ to deal with that)

Just got an email for this. My local one staying closed for now:

I know I’m like a broken record on this but if vaccine rollout doesn’t come in time to save a load of cinemas then every film studio head who panicked and chucked all their films on a year and every film critic/film website/blue-check moron on Twitter who told people that going to the cinema was the most unsafe thing you could possibly do can piss off forever

Easily in my top 10

Atomic Blonde is shit isn’t it, along with The Old Guard I’ve been really starting to consider whether Charlize is a good actor or not

guardian STILL trucking along with the ‘borat is good actually’ nonsense I see

In the spirit of making these more inclusive, whats the deal here? How many films you watched the previous month, best, worst etc?
How do you remember what films you watched and how many?

literally write anything you want about films, there’s no real format. talk about stuff you’ve seen, stuff you want to see, how much you love x actor, whatever.

people mostly use Letterboxd to track what they’ve watched and what they’ve liked. I did it for a year and then forgot to use it at all this year.

Oh right okay, cool. I’m gonna start doing this.

Last film I watched was Intolerable Cruelty. Never seen it before. Really loved it. Thought it was gonna be pretty rom commy but it was more commy than rommy

Always bugged me on film posters where the actors names aren’t over those actors

Yeah this film is loads of fun I thought. A friend said he thought George is at his most fuckable when he’s under the Coen’s direction, and it’s hard to argue with that

On the subject of the Coens I saw A Serious Man for the first time this week. Really good. Nothing happens. Not as good as Burn After Reading IMHO but I think I’m in the minority here

This poster for Spotlight is a horror show for that
