I reckon that Pogba was probably pretty angry about being brought back too early and getting injured again earlier in the season. Probably played into him taking/being given a long time to recover and return too, and to us being cautious about playing him too much too quickly now.
Kinda BS player power and motivation (I remember the likes of Rooney insisting he was playing when Fergie wasn’t sure) but hey…
Given the kicking Dan James got today, I’m not surprised we didn’t want to risk him
