Let’s have some good clean fun this holiday season.

If you were going to hold up six fingers to indicate the six Premier League titles you had won:

  • Three fingers on each hand
  • All four fingers and thumb on one hand accompanied by a single finger on the second hand

All of one hand and one thumb on the other, so you can add some passive-aggressiveness to the mix, is the obvious answer.

Updating my calendar with our home fixtures, we’ve got a 7pm kick off on Sunday 15th December. Chelsea vs Brentford so won’t fuck match going fans as much as some of these rearranged matches do, but that feels early for the Christmas/New Year “football could happen at any point” televised free-for-all. Isn’t it usually only in the days immediately before and after that, idk, Southampton vs Wolves spontaneously erupts on Sky Sports at 3.12pm on a Tuesday without anyone being told?

Checking this up and it’s not even the only 7pm game that day, and Southampton-Spurs is live on TNT (Sky are at the darts by then) There’s no game that late on the 22nd or 29th either.

from what I’ve read on our forum, this move was requested by Chelsea because you have an away match in like Kazakhstan the Thursday before so wanted an extra few hours before playing again, and we for some reason said yeah no worries. dunno how true that is.

fortunately it’s an easy trip for me, fully functioning trains and tube permitting, but still a bit annoying. better than other matches we have in December where there are no trains back to London available after the final whistle iirc.

Think it’s pretty typical for clubs to agree to requests to move fixtures. Bit of an unspoken rule/gentleman’s agreement thing, you never know when you’ll need to ask so better to not be difficult for the sake of it. Someone I used to know who worked for a PL club told me that Liverpool had once refused to move a game and relations had got really petty as a result, refusing to let scouts into matches and the like.

Get that payout, king :crown:

Do they keep these ready to go on file in case one of our players has a decent performance. Like obituaries.

I think it might be cool if United sold [someone] and bought Omar Marmoush
