KNEW the goose was a comrade.

So why are you on this site then? Bloomin hypocrite

I like the posts

so you do see the point of being on the site even if you don’t ensure you read each and every post with your full attention?

would like a separate calming thread really where people can be encouraging as I imagine there will be an explosion of anger and pessimism around.

Show me a post I haven’t read and I’ll read it

(Btw, in this post the first “read” should be pronounced “read” and the second “read” should be pronounced “read”)

Could be interpreted either way - a vote for the candidate under protest or a spoilt ballot because the voter is saying they want to vote for Labour, but not the candidate.

I suspect the latter argument might win out because of the exact wording - they’re explicitly saying they don’t want to vote for the candidate, so their intent isn’t clear.

:thinking::thinking::thinking:

for context this is who this piece of shit is:

just one good faith journo giving another good faith journo a shoutout, definitely not trying to coordinate a hit job!

thanks for replying but what I really want is an admission of your hypocrisy and dishonesty.

2.3 A ballot paper must not be rejected because the vote is:3
• not marked in the proper place
• marked other than by a cross
• marked by more than one mark
if an intention to give a vote for not more than one candidate clearly appears on the
ballot paper

I suspect the vote could count.

Ah yeah good point.

Ok Smee, you can have not just an admission but also a heartfelt apology for my hypocrisy and dishonesty.

thanks.
have to admit it doesn’t feel as good as I thought it would

Life can sometimes disappoint

don’t know if that was the exact wording, something like that

Sounds like disinformation being put about to cause a bunch of potentially spoiled Labour ballots to me, tbh.

It’s pretty clearly not a smart move.

I feel like we should be starting a ‘safety thread’ in time for next Thursday just in case it ends up being a disaster – pictures of cute, funny stuff – links to dogs being stupid, whatever – anything to numb the brain a bit.

don’t think so. comes from a group of cross party SNP and Labour trans rights activists in Labour/SNP marginals. Both parties have quite big internal confrontations going on over the issue right now.
