An obscure one but well worth seeking out: somewhere around 2000 a band called Byrne released a six track EP and then vanished- Slowly and Gloriously. It was very Radiohead circa The Bends… textured understated ballads. Was listening to it the other day… still really beautiful.

I mean what’s not catchy about repeating the word blood 64 times over the course of your albums opening track?? The listener should have been gripped from the start.
