I have about 10 years ago. It was good, but if you can go to Dubrovnik instead

We did both, flew to Split, spent 4 days there, then did an overnight ferry to Dubrovnik and did another 4 days.

Sort of. Stayed on one of the islands next to Split, which was bliss. Visited Split itself and it was an awful tourist trap.
