Took me a while to work out why Deerhunter might be playing London Gatwick, but it’s ok, I’m there now.
Might still hit up that Roundhouse show, even though I’ll be at EOTR.
Seeing them last night reminded me just how solid an album WHEAD is. Delighted they played a bunch of tracks from Halcyon Digest too.
Completely missed that Roundhouse poster, that should be a cracking gig!
I love that they still play What Happens to People with the ambient intro. It’s a shame it got dropped from the recorded version.
It is a massive shame.

I absolutely loved it, of course, burst in to tears for Disappearing Ink. Death In Midsummer,No One’s Sleeping are great set additions but not sold on Futurism at all.
Still haven’t heard Monomania live, bring on November.
They played Monomania at Primavera a couple of weeks ago. When they were touring the Monomania album, they played the 3 song run of Sleepwalking >Back to the Middle >Monomania and it was the best.
