I don’t want to sound smug but the bathroom’s running at a sweet 47 at the minute.

Landlord’s given us £150 for a dehumidifier - what do I get? (don’t mind pitching in say around £30-50 more). 2 bed single storey flat…

Meaco!

Was eyeing up this one https://www.meaco.com/products/meacodryarete1-12l

Absolutely spins me out how much water is just in the fucking air

This is our one. Can’t fault it, but the one you linked looks more space aged!

Would genuinely consider this the best purchase I have made in my adult life

6L depleted from the “Air” in 24 hours, take that dew point

Great things. Very satisfying to enter a dehumidified room and to empty the water container. Always tempted to drink it, but saving that for a special occasion.

I’ve been leaning more in the other direction lately

What are the benefits If you are lucky enough not live in a damp house?

It’ll magic water from somewhere - “no damp, no problem I will create water anyway, for I am Meaco”

Uncomfortably dry eyes, skin and and airways, increased electricity bills, get to pour a jug of water away occasionally

My Meaco shit the bed this weekend. Still in warranty though but Appliances Direct haven’t replied to my email yet. :frowning:

I don’t know why I’m not allowed to drink it, I always want to
