A box of mist

You swim down over the city. As you get closer, most of the buildings seem in rather poor repair. But several things seem worthy of closer attention. Will you investigate:

  • A huge palace with striped domes? (103)
  • A large sunken galleon lying on its side? (282)
  • An area that looks like an underwater garden? (2)

You just wait, that single gold piece will be essential when we need to win the jackpot on the underwater fruit machine.

Does the sunken galleon have a kind of “might have more eels in it” kind of vibe?

Any giant crabs knocking about?

We came here to kill eels and chew garlic. And we somehow don’t have any garlic.

That was a hell of an eel. Morays are big but 12 stamina? Fuck me.

That’s why we dragged the corpse of the other one out the cave and sent it drifting down through the ocean - the other eels will get the message.

You approach the sunken ship. The masts are still tall and straight, and a few rags of sail are still waving in the current… but a great hole has been torn in one side. You can see movement inside. Something indistinct, but large, is making its home there.

Yeah that’s definitely a death ship. But even so I HAVE TO KNOW! ENTER THE DEATH SHIP!

You enter the sunken ship. In the sudden dimness, you can barely see where you are going. You grab the side of a door and try to feel your way.

Your foot falls centimetres away from a huge CLAM, which closes with a clashing sound. What will you do?

  • Kill the clam with your sword? (97)
  • Look for the captain’s cabin? (40)
  • Look for the treasure-hold? (192)
