Did anyone here do a kids show phone in?

The kind where you pressed 3 to move forward/jump 8 go back/duck?

no but remember this one where they had to shout left / right / jump to control him

seemed like you were depending a lot on the precison of the person who was actually pressing the controls

Yeah, same with Feed The Frog on Going Live.

The kids could be amazing at it, but if the operator wasn’t sharp enough, it could all go wrong.

We were quite late to get in on the touch-tone revolution in my house, so were excluded from that type of game.

That was my favourite one. I wonder if you can download it.

all-time classic of the genre

We had one of these bad boys

well into the 21st century. When my bro was having band practice round our house the bassist had to be shown how to use it.

Subquestion: were any of you on Knightmare? Reckon it would be well within the sphere of interest of the average DiSer

Did anyone go on 50/50? Lots of contestants so one of you must have.

I can’t remember it being difficult but I was an incredibly smart child.

I think 50/50 mainly involved jumping and bouncing and the odd question about 911

50/50 was the best one to see kids in the audience doing that thing kids in those shows do where they’ve been coached on how to cheer with their arms in the air.
