Not seen it yet but the many Highland and island folk I know are big fans of it. Most programmes of that type tend to zone in on the romanticised bollocks and rich cunts with estates, although it sounds like this one touched on crofting, over-tourism, etc and spoke to actual locals?
The other half (tv) has an obsession about visiting Shetland so I am planning to try and get us there in Jan 2022 for the Up Helly Aa festival of fire, the one where they celebrate the viking heritage and burn the long boat
I did yeah but that band he went to see and seemed to genuinely love were possibly the worst band of all time.
