They only play this and the Thomas the Tank Engine theme song on a loop.

can imagine that becoming extremely tiresome by the 3rd pint.

Not to me. I’m like a giant womanchild, I will scream with glee with every pint that slowly chugs along.

Aw man, sorry to hear you’ve been feeling all the stress regarding this event, wishing you lots of luck for it xx

Back to the old house to eat food

Cheers Witches, just been telling myself constantly that if anything goes wrong it’s not a big deal, no one’s gonna die (as long as the venue gets the dietary requirements right anyway!!!1!!)

That is some sound advice you’re giving yourself there  These things happen but it doesn’t mean it’s a failure if they do. It’s far too easy to let the negatives get in the way of all the many, many positives. I bet everyone will think the event’s fantastic and the moment you get to relax after it’s all over with will feel AMAZING :champagne: :fireworks:

Couple of friends’ birthday get together on Saturday during the day and then the theatre in the evening. I was planning on running the Hackney Half on Sunday, but my knee flaring up had put paid to that, so I might go and cheer on the people doing it. Monday was going to be a recovery day, so now it might be a DIY day.

Can’t believe you took this opportunity away from me.

Smart people used this glut of bank holidays to get 18 days off and only use 9 days annual leave.

I’m using it to go to Newcastle to see an all time dog AND Los Camp

I’m going to see a load of bands and then I’m going to get wrecked out of it on the Sunday night. Aiming for the early house at eight o’clock on Monday morning.

i did know but had forgotten. at work when there’s a bank holiday coming up everyone gets asked if they want to work it (with extra pay), and from the ones who say yes they choose as many of those as is needed so they have the bare minimum. i volunteered to work both the may bank holidays thinking i’d probably get put down for one at most, probably neither, and it might get me out of being forced to work some unfavourable shift later in the year. but they’ve put me down for both and looking at the bank holidays etc i’m not sure it will even help :sob:

Only realised this recently, it’s flipping great! I am going to watch football.

Are you seeing los camp in newcastle? We’re seeing them in sheffield on sat

Trip to Bath with mates and their two kids

Yup! Liverpool on Thursday and Newcastle on Sunday  hopefully it’ll make up for the shit time I had at their all-dayer last year.
