I always imagined they used some kind of big rolling machine, but this does fit better with the term “pebble dash”

Guys, I actually knew this already.

Can’t prove that though.

Not having that, no one knew this apart from that one man

I knew this.

I didn’t. Seems a lot of work to have stones on a wall.

Are you the man in the video?

Well, I thought they’d stand closer and kind of press it in so less went on the floor. So no.

Slow process though I suppose

thought maybe they had a gun/cannon thing that would do it for them, but in principle, yes, i knew this.

Used to pull the pebbles out of the pebbledash on our house, pissed my Mum right off.

Its quite a soothing sound, could pebble dashing be the new whale noise?.. No probably not.

Some sort of, like… mix
Like the stones were in the concrete mixture and then… they wash it… or something
But definitely thought it was some sort of stone batter

Is this what actual pebble dash is then?? Thought it was just a rude phrase

It’s the amount of excess and the paddle that I find most vexing some sort of stone glue sounds more plausible although obviously wrong going by that video.

used to kick a football off the garage and they’d fall off, great fun, had a similar reaction from my mum. Fine when my nephew does it now though, isn’t it? Fucking bullshit.
