For the shandy style thing, I find lemonade etc too sweet to drink much of, so something that has that beery taste but is much less boozy is ideal for me! Non-alcoholic beer is almost ok, but not quite.

Actually I’d be interested to see if it’s (partly) an age thing, since I seem to recall that people usually grow out of liking such sweet things. So out of curiosity, done anonymously, how old are all y’all

I’m with you on this. Dunno what it is, but just find it so unappealing. And not just beer - same with wine spritzers and sangria and that kind of thing. Just no. It’s fine as it is.

I’m in Iceland lads - where supermarkets can’t sell booze :scream:

Thankfully I bought a nice stout in my suitcase for each evening we’re here, and took advantage of the big duty free at the airport here which they openly say is the cheapest way to get booze here. Got a six pack of Gull for a tenner or so, and very easy drinking it is.
