I’ve cracked the Mikkeller 1000 IBU IPA. Much to my surprise, it’s really rather tasty. Tastes like your standard resin bomb at first, then a lingering intense bitterness hits the tongue. The high ABV adds a gorgeous rich sweetness that tames the hops well. It’s actually 12.1% nowadays, so my knobbed factor is going to rise at least 3 levels after 500ml…
