very little a lot of hard work, here’s the results!
68 different films were voted for with 22 different films receiving at least one first place vote, so a pretty good spread of opinions. That said the final list won’t surprise many people, with the runaway winner being …
1 - Moonlight - 94 points
2 - Get Out - 58 points
3 - Manchester by the Sea - 57 points
4 - Blade Runner 2049 - 34 points
5 - Raw - 30 points
6 - Dunkirk - 27 points
7 - Paddington 2 - 24 points
8 - Call Me By Your Name - 23 points
9= The Handmaiden - 22 points
9= Toni Erdmann - 22 points
Also thanks for sorting this. AND getting the correct winner
I saw eight of those and liked seven of them.
Which was the one you didn’t like?
I saw four of those and mostly liked three of them and hated one.
this just tells me how slack I was with my cinema going last year
I’ve seen the top 4, but none of the rest
dunkirk beating paddington 2 is an outrage
I’ve got Moonlight in the flat, it was the last film that lovefilm (RIP) posted to me. I wonder if they want me to return it.
I’ll probably get round to watching it this weekend.
Didn’t really care for Call Me By Your Name, didn’t see The Handmaiden or Paddington 2
Highest vote getters
1 - Moonlight - 26 votes
2 - Get Out - 17 votes
3 - Manchester By the Sea - 16 votes
4 - Blade Runner 2049 - 11 votes
5 - Dunkirk - 9 votes
Seen 7, liked 7. Great stuff DiS. I keep meaning to watch Toni but it’s fucking three hours. That’s twice the length a film should be
the last jedi not even placed terrible film eh!!
Paddington 2 is very good and made me not want to deck hugh grant, which is very rare
yeah it’s decent but long as fuck
Haven’t seen Paddington 1 yet so haven’t seen Paddington 2
I would say you’re better off skipping 1 and going straight to 2. It’s pretty much a standalone film and is definitely the better of the 2
