Just started a Burroughs yesterday and can’t help inserting his voice into every line. Cities of the Red Night, it’s started off with a gay junkie getting stranded in the jungle. Standard.

Aye really enjoyed that one, took me a while to get through it though and dont think i ever finished the trilogy.

Yeah it’s good, feels quite Lynchian in a way because of the dream/meditation stuff. Only read Junkie, Queer and Naked Lunch so far so wanted to get stuck into one of the trilogies but hopefully it won’t take me 6 months or something to do so.

I’ve not read it though it’s meant to be a bit of a trashy page turner, right? So I imagine it’s quite suited holiday reading / waiting in airports to pass the time etc…

I’m not familiar with the Magnus Mills novel either. Bit of a theme going on with those books though :smiley:

Had to take ours to the vet over the weekend as she has hurt her paw playing outside and it had gotten a bit infected. The vet cleaned her up and gave her a dose of antibiotics. How’s yours?
