@anon26275971 and @wileycat I think might be on to the best suggestion for the hopefully unlikely event that someone’s name gets drawn when they have no prize preferences left, I have some ideas for small things that could be consolation prizes if people thought that was good (mostly just going to be making a load of origami Christmas decorations in the next month for family presents, will likely have lots spare if people would like those as token prizes?)

Best way to avoid that problem though is if you fill out absolutely every prize you are interested in on the survey - I apologise that might be a bit time consuming, but if you have the time it will help ensure a smooth draw day  (obviously if there really are only a few things you are interested in then only put those down).

If you have donated up to this point by the paypal or bank transfer you should receive your prize preferences survey at some point tonight.

Just an FYI on the survey - you can pick more than one of the same number, and you can’t untick.

This has just been brought to my attention.

Also more FYI: you can enter as many as 40 prize options on the survey (out of 66 prizes available).

I still have 21 entrants to send surveys to!

@moderators?

Also, surprised I’ve never got this…

Ok, I guess people will have to wait 12 hours… unless you have bought tickets and want to send me a PM, then I can reply to that with your ticket numbers and the survey link.

there’s so many great prizes but tons that I am really not going to be able to take :frowning:
I would LOVE to spend a week on the North Yorkshire Moors with @wileycat & her excitable dog but realistically that’s not going to happen

Same with the @Xylo night out …though the @scout walking tour might be a possible if I come over to Manchester for the DiS_State gig…

Also, I’m wondering…I had obviously counted in postage costs from Sweden to UK when donating prizes but I’m now thinking that perhaps not everyone else had costed in postage charges from the UK to Sweden with their prizes so I’m trying to check back between to public spreadsheet of the raffle entries & the raffle preferences list to make sure I’m not running foul of restrictions.

It’s probably not going to be a problem anyway but just wanted to say in advance that anyone who suddenly finds the postage to Sweden an eye watering amount then I’m sure we can sort something out

Hi @anon89873996 can you send one to bargainmax I’ve silenced him so he can’t post but he can still receive messages

I’ve changed your settings slightly so you should be able to send more messages I think

No luck with that unfortunately, I still have to wait 11 hours until I can send more messages :frowning: (I did just test it to make sure)

WOW, amazing. That’s very generous.

you do realise though that BEERS in Sweden cost way more than flight tickets

gonna put you on my prize preference list anyway cos I’m well up for an antique map but if I win you then it might be better for the hardship fund to actually auction you off to the highest bidder

we’ll see

Bah! can you try one more time if it’s not too much hassle?

also, I’m having an IMPOSSIBLE time trying to put these prizes in order of preference

I gave it another try, still getting the same message unfortunately.
