think the reason I like it here is because I can easily be really mundane and banal and scratch that itch. I don’t really do that sort of thing too much for some reason in the real world, and for that, dis is probably a net positive (for me, not you lot lol)

Yep! Most of my life situation is through choice, and it’s a comfortable life I’m very lucky to have. I have the ‘why is my life so out of phase with everybody else’s?’ thing with friends too, but that’s mostly to do with kids and whatnot, and if I’m being horribly honest with myself, a tiny bit of resentment that they all have their spouses and happy families etc and I’ve had to start again. Not proud of myself when I get annoyed that way, and obviously nobody’s life is all roses and sunbeams, but I do sometimes feel like I’ve fallen off the world and everybody’s carried on without me :man_shrugging:
