Sure, we’d all love to live in a perfect world where theres a banal thread every day… I bet you’d be up for a daily filth thread too, dirty sod. Unfortunate truth is that that’s too much filth and too much banal. The Silent Majority are with me on this.

didn’t used to DiS a lot in the day which was why the evening thread was great, was nice to catch up with folks without digging through 100 replies and then feeling lame for trying to tag along in someone else’s conversation.

Always feel intimidated posting in the morning or evening threads because of the timezone difference, but as far as I can tell that’s only going to affect me, antelope (where’s he gone?) and ma0sm, and really it’s our fault for being on the wrong side of the world.

But given the choice I’d probably prefer a single daily thread. Thanks.

Aw you shouldnt. Every here is cool apart from the people who voted to getfrid of daily threads and they wont be in there anyway!

hardly ever go into them tbh, they’re always far too long by the time i turn up. probably best to keep them separate though as one for the whole day will only scare me off even more.

Never really got why we need a Banal Thread, because daily threads are banal threads. But morning/day and evening threads are good, from my experience which I have acquired over many, many years, none of the nightshift bother with a 100 reply day thread containing lots of conversations that have already ended.

Obviosulsy I have to add that the nightshift was better in the olden days, though.

Daily threads are more ‘hi everyone how r u im off to strasbourg for my cats birthday’ whereas banal is just like ‘ffs man how is it only 4pm’

Giggling at the idea this would be two posts from the same person
