Right, there was enough interest in this to give it a try so let’s do it. The idea of this thread is that it will contain an art prompt generated by a website (I used Magatsu this month), and we will all create and share art in whatever format we like that was inspired by the prompt. Might write something for this. The prompt reminded me of a short story idea I had ages ago on a theme of one being out of ones depth and so it seems like I could be meta (while also writing which is beyond my competence)
Yeah it turns out you can’t really make music just by slamming a fuzz pedal into the front of your new overdrive pedal and hope it does something interesting, you actually have to… do something.
Yeah it is but the tension is much higher (obvs) so I find getting those first few wraps around the tuning peg to be a massive pain in the arse. I might just be bad at it though.
Yeah, to the extent that I didn’t bother if I could get away with it, but that just causes a different pain in the arse by having so much to wind and making sure the break angle is still ok.
I don’t do that bullshit thing where you make them tidy and loop them before putting through the headstock, just stick the string in there and cut off the excess
