DiS Hardship Fund Winter Raffle 2019 Prize Donation Thread **donation deadline 11am 6th November**

I am very happy to announce the return of the DiS Hardship Fund Winter Raffle for 2019! The draw date has been set a little earlier for this year on Friday 22nd November 2019

Anticipating a possible extra level of need over the festive season, I am organising a raffle to raise a bit of money for our community hardship fund (also hopefully just posting this will be help raise a bit of awareness for both use of, and donations to the fund). Last year we raised in excess of £1000, and several hundred pounds of fund surplus got donated to a range of really worthy charities nominated by DiSers as well. Also, we had a lot of fun doing it :+1:

Raffle entry will cost £2, though donations in excess of this are very much appreciated depending on what you can afford. Details of how to enter will be confirmed later.

For now though, I am looking for people to donate prizes, the more DiS-themed or else unique the better! Do you make something? Can you offer a service? Can you source something that you think your fellow community members will be willing to pay a small amount for the chance to win? Any particularly nice tat you want to offload?

Prizes can be donated anonymously if you prefer. You will also have to be willing to pay postage to send it direct to the winning DiSer if applicable.

To donate your prize, please fill in the following form:

Details submitted here will be seen by myself as raffle organiser, and also possibly by @AdrianWebb who has very kindly volunteered as my technical/database/admin support.

Prize donation is open until Wednesday 7th November at 11am , and a new thread to reveal the final prize list will be made within a couple of days of that and also shortly after you will be able to buy your raffle tickets.

Please feel free to discuss anything in this thread, or if not DM me if there is anything you want to ask or need help with

Don’t feel bad! Sure we’ll have plenty of prizes, there is no pressure.

Last year @slicky offered some home baked cookies, maybe you could offer something baked which is postable as your baking always looks so delicious?

Did the like ever get given? I’ve been off and on a bit this year so I might have missed it
