new job and or win lottery

I think if we all start buying tickets for japes we can make this happen people (and by all, I mean all the people everywhere)

Desktops are really still the best and because of smartphones the only reason you’d have a laptop these days is because you’re a student tbh.

I want to make the top cut in a big Netrunner tournament this year. I managed a spectacular 106th out of 238 this weekend gone, so feeling good about Norwich on Saturday!!

Wouldn’t mind meeting some of you before the year’s out.

Same but sometimes I’m frustrated when I try and work on it, so maybe it’s a grass is always greener scenario. I also don’t have a smartphone so I was just pissing in the wind really.

Doing any music stuff on a laptop is just horrendous too

  • Get a better job.
  • Buy a computer.
  • Release two more albums.
  • Get our label off the ground.
  • Be there when my girlfriend arrives in Dublin airport in August.

Don’t think it’d get better than a mac book pro no matter how much money you chuck at it but in my experience even a proper relic imac would be superior to that really

Just pop round and see me, I’ll give you a hug any day

I don’t like laptops, and I use my PC for graphics stuff a lot, so a big monitor is a plus.

I started a thread on it last year, and people posted helpful links in it:

Get a job

That’s it

Dunno man, I agree it’s more convenient for some things like being able to go places with it, but it’s less convenient for doing some bits of work (not necessarily creative things but basically anything that requires more than a little bit of information, or a lot of typing, etc). Even for watching things a lot of laptops aren’t really up to scratch and a tv on top of the price might put it near a desktop price. A good mac book can be anything up to a grand, you could get a hell of a desktop for the same price. I’ve got no such luck and have had a string of terrible £150-200 absolute tin cans.
