i thought the opposite was true, or maybe until fairly recently when bedroom recording became a lot more affordable. i guess the biggest plus for PCs is essentially that you can mix and match, you can upgrade specific parts of your system rather than buy a new one every couple of years. that is crucial for me because video technology moves much faster, and even as a freelance editor working from home i’m expected to be able to work with cinema quality footage.

ive been in my flat 7 years - and its fair to say that progress is glacial

my bedroom and the kitchen are both done now though, which is kind of spurring me on to do the rest

cant you take the tunnel?

no way of knowing I guess but whenever I am at a gig and see a computer on stage more often than not it is a MacBook, and it seems to filter down to the hobbiest level, like music shops sell MacBooks

that’s not the point

Or if you were a true cyclist like you say you are

Really need to just take the full plunge with this re:veganism too
Just so bloody lazy sometimes

I’ve heard that you and your band are selling your macbooks and buying desktops

can’t stand seeing a macbook on stage

Hopefully it only ever happens at seated venues then!!!

flaming nora!

I once saw former ghosts play, something went wrong with his MacBook, someone in the crowd shouted ‘get a pc’. I found it mildly amusing (despite thinking the infinite configurations of pc’s would probably make them more prone to issues)

Oh, this is easy:

  • learn to drive
  • lose (at least) a stone
  • move into a flat with enough room to not send me loopy

Yeah, I really want to go veggie again. I only eat meat maybe once or twice a week, but sometimes I just crave cos I get hooked and then bored on that Quorn stuff.
