cant you take the tunnel?

no way of knowing I guess but whenever I am at a gig and see a computer on stage more often than not it is a MacBook, and it seems to filter down to the hobbiest level, like music shops sell MacBooks

that’s not the point

Or if you were a true cyclist like you say you are

– go full vegan knobhead (not far off now mind you)
– cut down on drinking a bit
– move to Manchester

most importantly: finish my fucking phd

Really need to just take the full plunge with this re:veganism too
Just so bloody lazy sometimes

I’ve heard that you and your band are selling your macbooks and buying desktops

can’t stand seeing a macbook on stage

Hopefully it only ever happens at seated venues then!!!

flaming nora!

I once saw former ghosts play, something went wrong with his MacBook, someone in the crowd shouted ‘get a pc’. I found it mildly amusing (despite thinking the infinite configurations of pc’s would probably make them more prone to issues)

take it to the gear thread, nerd

Oh, this is easy:

  • learn to drive
  • lose (at least) a stone
  • move into a flat with enough room to not send me loopy

Yeah, I really want to go veggie again. I only eat meat maybe once or twice a week, but sometimes I just crave cos I get hooked and then bored on that Quorn stuff.

Currently cutting down on drinking. I’m into week 2 of sobriety, I’m feeling really about it. Plus it’s nice to come home from a night out having spent about £3 on drinks all night.

Good stuff! Yeah, about a year ago I was drinking 6 if not 7 days a week and was pretty miserable. Down to 3 or 4 days a week now, so probably still a bit too much, but I’ve lost nearly 3 stone doing so.

Keep it up

It’s easy to do, isn’t it. But having done the same as you I don’t bother with any Quorn stuff these days, think there are much nicer alternatives tbh

And you my friend!

I’ve been veggie for 14 years or so now and have more or less forgotten what meat is like to eat in any way shape or form, and am almost vegan but am incredibly lazy, especially looking at certain packets or alcohols. Just doesn’t make sense why I still eat dairy at all imho.
