Didn’t expect to enjoy a new Dinosaur Jr album in 2021 as much as I did, but it’s a blast. Beachy Head are the only newcomers on a list of otherwise familiar faces.

FlyLo sounds good on the first couple of listens and looking forward to giving the series a go.

The London Grammar record is aesthetically pleasing, but too lyrically bland to be elevated much beyond pleasant.

Overall, lots of underwhelming releases this month though, and I still find that Godspeed title intensely irritating.

Not really sure which order to put my top five in (other than I’ve bought the top four), which are all very good, but I don’t think the order will matter that much anyway!

Oh yeah, that’s a shame. I wonder why that is. Still, was a very good album

That Tor album is really good.

Found this a really hard month to keep up with because there’s just been so much good stuff out. Top 6 cities really have gone in any order, then there have been about 50 albums I’ve enjoyed after that, so very few of them have even been played twice, resorted to shuffling the playlist and picking out highlights to help me order them.

An absolutely ridiculous month for releases tbh. Was also really into the Satomimagae,
Godspeed, Brockhampton, Field Music, The Alchemist and Big Brave albums.

Yeah I’d not heard of him until he was mentioned on here. I think this album may stand up to a lot of repeat plays.

Shocked at how few votes Dry Cleaning have had so far. Felt like half the boards were in the dedicated thread. Big surprise.
