The Matt Robertson LP is a great mix of Ambient / IDM, as is the Midnat LP although a bit darker. KMRU is new to me but loving the LP he’s so talented, such a great sound.Fears is good synth pop (ish) I love the vocal. Good month.

I’ve been scanning this thread for albums I’ve missed and seeing this one was one 39 minute piece I scanned a few places on the track at first and was a bit bemused, but I’ve left it running and it is really oddly compelling for what seems to be literally just whirrs, clicks and beeps.

I’ve sent a few quid over just now.

I think this thread’s been going on for about eight years now.

I’m probably not the only one who’s discovered so many albums not on their radar due to this thread.

If you’ve found some great artists via this thread and able to part with a little donation to the site please do if possible.

My monthly music round up blog post.

Another month with no new heavy music, well, Garry Numan is in there, and a bunch of other stuff.

1 Voronoi - The Last Three Seconds
2. black midi - Cavalcade
3. Perturbator - Lustful Sacraments
4. Blanck Mass - Mind Killer
5. Fucked Up - Year Of The Horse

At this stage I’d expect to see some of this stuff in the reckoning come Yuletide. More time needed with Fucked Up’s equine epic. Dipping back into Squid as it has many moments to like, but it’s just not grabbing me as a whole quite yet.
